Location & Arrival

“A quiet and optimal location in the heart of Zermatt nature”

The Element Chalets are located outside the centre towards Zen Stecken, about 5 minutes walk from the sports field and Forest Fun Park.

The houses are located directly next to the ski slope "Furi - Blatten - Zermatt" on the last decent to the valley, about 200m below the Après Ski Bar "Hennu Stall".

Coming from the village you have a flat way home. The last 10 minutes you walk on a hiking trail and this only leads the last 3 minutes over a steeper passage up to the chalets.

Unfortunately the chalets are not marked on the map of Zermatt. However, you can see the marking of the chalets on the map in the area (E16). From this part of the village it is barely 5-8 minutes walking time.

Arrival to the chalets

Luggage and taxi services (extra charge)

Please note that we are not a hotel and the chalets are not located in the centre.

For organisational reasons it is important that you inform us of your exact arrival and departure times, as well as any time changes and delays.

During the summer, you can take a taxi directly to the chalet’s front door. Please note that not every taxi company drives up to the chalets in summer. Please get in contact with us.

In winter, a taxi can take you to the nearest hiking trail, where the chalet is reached within a 5-8 minutes walking (300 meter) on a hiking trail which is steeply raising the last 2 minutes.

Upon your arrival in Zermatt, we can organize a taxi. Your luggage will be transported from the nearest taxi stop to the chalets by us. This luggage transport service by your arrival & departure is offered by us. Please note that this service is free of charge when all people arrive at the same time. Different arrival and departure times must be booked in advance and are at extra costs.

How to travel to Zermatt

Journey by car

Zermatt is car-free. Access for private traffic is only permitted up to Täsch. Täsch lies 5 km before Zermatt, the road Täsch - Zermatt is closed for public traffic. From Täsch you can take a taxi or train to Zermatt.

What do we recommend:

Make your journey as comfortable as possible.

We would be happy to recommend that you park your car at Taxi Christoph in Täsch and then take the taxi service to Zermatt. At the entrance to Zermatt you change to an electric taxi of the same company, which will take you directly to the nearby hiking trail, in summer even up to the chalets.

If you prefer to take the train, you can park in Täsch directly at the station and then take the shuttle Täsch-Zermatt, which runs every 20 minutes. The journey takes 12 minutes. You can transport your luggage from your car to the train using the luggage trolley (free of charge, deposit coin CHF 5). At the train station in Zermatt you can take an electric taxi and take it to our chalets.

We recommend that you take the company Taxi Christoph, which will even take you up to the chalets in summer.
